I think I have been using it more lately because when it is not ridiculous hot,

Things were & are still flowing here, though it's certainly been slower chatter
wise.

A good thing to check is the min_genan and min_weather echos, there are many
automated posts that go out several times per day. If you're getting those
messages then you know your connection to the network is working.

I'd guess this would be an appropriate area. Was the net down? I hadn't
seen new mesages since Jun 25th. Now as of Jul 15th I am again. I was
working with Rick Smith and he said I was the only one having problems. I
did a rescan and see no messages between those two dates.

Do you mean, for actual riding? I love Diana to bits but I don't think you could
easily sit on her. Her back is too wide. I hug her so often, when I reach for
her navel I have some trouble embracing her and reaching her back. By the way
that leaves me exposed to her vicious horse attack, which consists on playfully
nibbling my ass.

I suppose also many of us might never hear the original version
if it didn't get super popular.. I have my music collection,
mostly old stuff, but I'm not a big music follower. I play my
collection but rarely listen to the radio at home, plus the
station I have on in my car plays mostly 'oldies'..

But, a good example of most people never hearing the original..
'What about Love', a big hit for the American group 'Heart',
was originally recorded by the Canadian group 'Toronto' in 1982.

Absolutely.. I always liked that one. She makes it work, but she
had very few others that ever made it onto the radio.

Yes, I think her very first song recorded was 'Blue', which she
did at age 13. But she has (had?) a very good voice and she
didn't seem to try to make cover songs 'her own' by changing them.
She just sang it the way it was originally performed and usually
produced a very good version of them.

She has recently played a character in the series, 911 Nashville,
where she plays a failing singer who was losing her voice, the
mother of one of the young Emergency Workers, and is generally
not a very nice person..

Some of that comes from real life as she's had a number of health
issues through much of her life, including vocal cord problems,
but she is still out there trying I guess..

to hear about draft horses, they tend to be used as riding centre horses here as
they are steady and unflapable

I am so sorry to hear.

At least I am sure he was loved. People who does not care just turn them to
burguers at the first sign of trouble. That is one of the reasons why I have
trouble getting certain vet supplies for Diana here: they don't make boots or
therapeuthic horseshoes her size because draft horses here get sent to the
gutter the moment they get the slightiest hoof issue.
