Subject: LORD IGMs

Another thing I forgot. I have installed a LORD IGM and it hangs because it's
looking for RIP. Can I modify the batch file command in the LORD 3RDPartyDat
with the "no rip" statement? If so, would I put this before the command to
call the program?

It's in OOSETUP under Game Information then Gate Status.

Does anyone know how to find cloaked ships with Anticloak Scanners to attack
them? There doesn't seem to be much literature on this anymore.

Laughing I'm in the same boat as you, I went from 200 down and 40 up to 28
and 2. I was busy also with peeps when in was public. The only thing I didn't
get was they were mostly script babies. The part I don't get is when someone
won the game being the were in the game 24/7 running scripts what the heck
fun is that? Really the computer is in another room while your sleeping, huh?

As for the lag I'm not sure no one has tried it for me, I spend most of my
time when playing in Galactic Dynasty or Barren Realms.

There are a couple of ways that I have tried to bounce from a telnet BBS to a
TWGS but both had some latency that my users at the time found annoying.
There's TelnetDoor by R&M Software if you are in an all Win32 environment.
https://www.randm.ca/bbs/telnetdoor/. I finally settled on running the BBS
under OS/2 like in its heyday so the other solution is the Citrisoft Internet
door suite which had both OS/2 and Win32 versions. I can't find it on the
Internet right at the moment but I'll dig through my archives and see what I
come up with. Again, there was some latency which folks weren't fond of, but
they do the job if you really want to do that.

When I had the PHP web interface up and running, it made file downloads a
breeze. Maybe this will be my chore the next couple of days. I just did a lot
of domestic things around the house here.

Yeah, I'm considering putting the file section on a website instead. Kinda
