Hi everyone, My cataract surgery went incredibly well. I now have 20/20 vision in both eyes, but thge cataracts were hiding how bad my near vision (age-related) had become. I'm now using +2.00 power readers for the computer and +2.50 power readers for the phone. I will still have to wear glasses with prisms in them for my esotropia as the prisms change the focal point of light for my eyes, causing them to relax, and my not getting splitting headaches. I use those glasses when driving as focusing constantly far afield causes my eyes to wander and set strained pretty badly. Now to get a handle on my diabetic retinopathy and I'll be good. The worst part is the light sensitivity I have right now because I had cataracts for so long and my corneas aren't used to being in full light. -- Sean ... I'd like to start a diet but I've got too much on my plate right now. --- MultiMail/Win * Origin: Outpost BBS * Johnson City, TN (618:618/1) |
