$3000 being your 35%? That's a lot of plow visits at $100 ea!   
I doubt that it would take 100 visits for this season!

Yeah.. with fuel/maintenance/parts costs being up quite a bit,  
not surprised that plowers are raising their rates anywhere  
between 25% to 50%.
