It's an independent game (not a duplication of the real NYT  
version)  ..although, I've heard (and maybe even tried) one bbs  
that does the real one over telnet on their system.

There is a pseudo-strategy to it. Think "wheel of fortune"  
strategy - RSTLN for first pick consonants, and start with a  
couple of vowels.
