True.. it's never a good idea to allow a potential buyer to  
meet at your own home.

Just list your contents and a contact number and post on  
various social media places.  Then arrange to meet at some  
public place with the item/s the person is "seriously"  
interested in. You should be able to get an idea how serious  
that person is after talking to them.

Or.. try to make arrangements to have your stash stored at a  
church or some friend's place?  ..and make arrangements to go  
there for the meet-ups?

We had a chat about this dilema of yours years ago wrt to the  
Cussler books, in 2020 and 2021.
