We had a couple of fairly warm sunny days right around Christmas
as well. We got some rain one evening, and then it dropped to
well below freezing that night, and the bay ended up with a
polished ice surface and a few people up for a Christmas holday
were out playing hockey on the bay..

But it won't last long.. Monday Dec 29th will be a few degrees
above freezing but for the next few days at least we will have
a high of about -12c (10F).
