Have you replaced your gas cap?  I had a problem with emissions on one of my
former vehicles and it turns out the gas cap just needed to be replaced.

My buddy has a Volvo statio wagon from the 80s: 5 speed, turbocharged...he
calls it the "flying brick".  I think he's had the car since 1991 or 1992 and
it's rock-solid.

He also has a SAAB which cannot be killed and drives in any type of weather
reliably.
