NTVDM beyond Windows 7 32-bit will be guaranteed nothing but problems. Microsoft published an update for Windows 10 32-bit which rendered NTVDM completely unreliable and unstable. Stuff may run for days, weeks, maybe even a few months then suddenly without warning it will all crap out. Problems which never happened on XP and 7. You are far better to set up a real XP/7 computer or VM where most if not all classic BBS stuff will run correctly. This is friendly advice from an MS-DOS FTN developer.
