I know its easy to have a visceral reaction when someone replies with "As
someone who is experienced" but please take it as friendly advice from
someone who went through absolute frustration of NTVDM on 10... on the LTSC
Enterprise version of 10 nonetheless.

Myself, Sean and some others have worked in shops where XP/7 laptops were
tossed in bins by the dozens... hundreds even... maybe more... They are
abundant and can be found for the price of a bad Friday night pizza.

The IBM R51 I had was one of them. It ran Darkrealms for years. Lid closed,
one time parked under my bed with just power, Ethernet and a dialup line...
all accessed by RDP.

And yes I had a tiny apartment at the time... when theres a will theres a way.

Nick
