Yes, this is normal if you're not using a BBS specific terminal.  The
position starts at 0 in some terms and 1 in others.  I don't know what the
standard is.  I think it's 1.  I've noticed that with connectbot.  If I hit
enter after forcing the screen size correct, it redraws everything properly.
Enter will redraw the screen, but if you hit it 3 times, it'll disconnect.
