Great, the latest update broke everything! Now the ansi is all piled together, there's no way to pick a code page and the screen size is no longer forced to 80x25. Thanks to terminator, I no longer need connectbot, but it was my only alternative for ssh. The ssh proxy I run doesn't work with terminator. I reported this and supposedly it was fixed, but it still doesn't connect with the latest version.
