When I was in Jr. high (and high school), most people wouldn't have
known what those even were.  If they took the computer class in high school,
they did know what a C-64 was because that was in the lab.

I knew what a TI-99/4A was because we had one.

The only "girls/women" that called them in my area were likely not female.

At some point about the time I left that area, Janis did have her board
online.
