I remember back in Grade 9 we were given Stranger in a Strange Land to read for English class. I thought that was great, to finally get a book that was interesting.. And then the teacher tore it apart later equating the main character to Christ and pretty much ruined it for me (even though there was probably some truth to the author's intent). But reading is a great thing. I've always said that you can't read a book without learning something new from it. Obviously not 100% of the time but there's a lot of truth to that. I go through 3 to 5 books a week depending on how busy I am and how thick the books are so, with any luck, I'm learning new things faster than I'm forgetting old things..
