That would be called "leveraging".

Earlier last year I was considering buying a house as an investment. The plan
was to take a mortage and pay it using the dividends from my investments only -
that way you end up with a house you didn't have but you don't de-capitalize
yourself.

I eventually scrapped the idea because the money is better placed in more
stocks, and you have to be utterly retarded to invest in Spanish housing
considering the sort of government we have.
