I was going to say more to that until you reminded me that you are
in Spain so things could be quite different.

I may have to buy another place because my current place requires
a lot of hard work to survive in the winter and I'm in fair shape
but not getting any younger. I don't want to sell this place since
we want to keep it in the family (my sister and I share ownership)
and pass it on to the next generation but, with it being nearly
impossible to buy a place for under $400,000 Cdn, and my gov't pension
(my only guaranteed income) not being all that high, I would have a
hard time getting a mortgage for more than about 25% of that purchase
price so I'll have to cash in a lump of investments to pull that off.

(I believe $400,000 Cdn equals just over 41 million Pesetas there?)
