Summary...Training showers are expected to continue across
portions of northern Georgia through the remainder of the morning,
with additional heavy rains and localized areas of flash flooding
possible. 

Discussion...The morning sounding from FFC showed PWs over 2
inches and a freezing level around 15,000 ft.  This environment
has supported a corridor of very efficient showers moving
southwest-northeast from near Carrollton to the Atlanta metro. 
These showers have been training ahead of a slow-moving
mid-to-upper level shortwave and its associated surface trough
approaching from TN/AL.  KFFC radar indicates rainfall rates over
2 inches where these showers continue to train.  Showers are
expected to continue to shift slowly to the northeast across
northern Georgia along with the better forcing.  With the
environment remaining favorable for efficient rainfall, additional
heavy amounts and localized areas of flash flooding are possible. 
Recent runs of the HRRR indicate localized additional amounts of
3+ inches are possible though the remainder of the morning into
the early afternoon within the highlighted area.  The threat for
flash flooding will be elevated across areas that have already
seen heavy amounts, in addition to urbanized and poor drainage
areas.
