Connemara Detailed Forecast for Thu 16 Jul 2026

An exceptionally hot day across Connemara with temperatures reaching 28-30?C
inland and 24-25?C along exposed coastal areas and islands. Partly to mostly
sunny skies will prevail throughout the day with some patchy light fog clearing
during the morning in sheltered areas. Light easterly winds in the morning will
shift to north-northwest by afternoon, remaining generally light across most
areas. The islands will experience slightly fresher northwesterly breezes.
Tomorrow night will see mostly clear to partly cloudy skies developing with
temperatures dropping to 12-15?C. Winds will remain north-northwest at 12 kph
gusting to 26-28 kph. Some patchy light fog may develop after midnight in
sheltered valleys and coastal areas.

00-06: Fair to partly cloudy with patchy light fog in places. Temperatures
15-19?C falling to overnight lows. Light east to northeast winds around 6-10
kph.
07-12: Partly to mostly sunny with patchy fog clearing. Temperatures rising
rapidly from 15-19?C to 23-27?C. Light east-northeast winds 9-10 kph gusting to
26-28 kph.
13-18: Partly to mostly sunny and unusually hot. Temperatures reaching peaks of
24-30?C depending on location. Winds shifting north-northwest, remaining light
around 9-10 kph.
19-00: Mostly clear to partly cloudy. Temperatures falling from daily highs to
12-15?C. North-northwest winds increasing to 12-18 kph gusting to 26-28 kph.
