Connemara Detailed Forecast for Mon 23 Mar 2026

Tomorrow will start cloudy with patchy mist and fog in valleys and low-lying
areas, especially in the north and east. Cloud will thicken through the morning,
becoming overcast by afternoon. Drizzle will develop in the afternoon,
particularly in western and southern areas, turning to light rain in places by
evening. Temperatures will rise from lows of 5-8C overnight to reach 10-13C by
afternoon, warmest in central and western parts. Winds will strengthen
significantly through the day, becoming fresh to strong southerly or
south-southwesterly, reaching 25-37 kph with gusts to 45-51 kph by evening,
strongest along western coasts. It will feel increasingly raw and damp by late
afternoon and evening.

00-06: Mostly cloudy with patchy mist and fog, especially in valleys. Light dew
in places. Temperatures 5-8C. Light winds increasing light to moderate
south-southeast, 3-10 kph.
07-12: Cloudy, with mist and fog clearing. Dry with light dew continuing in
places. Temperatures rising to 7-11C. Moderate to fresh southerly winds
increasing, 10-25 kph, gusting 28-43 kph.
13-18: Overcast with drizzle developing, turning to light rain in places.
Temperatures 10-13C. Fresh to strong south-southwest winds, 24-37 kph, gusting
41-51 kph.
19-00: Dense overcast with drizzle and light rain becoming widespread.
Temperatures holding 10-12C. Strong south-southwest winds continuing, 28-37 kph,
gusting 40-51 kph.

Cleggan: Cloudy becoming dense overcast. Drizzle afternoon and evening. High
10C. Strong south-southwest winds, gusting to 47 kph.
Clifden: Cloudy becoming dense overcast by afternoon. Drizzle developing. High
13C. Windy, south-southwest winds gusting to 48 kph.
