Connemara Detailed Forecast for Fri 27 Mar 2026 A cloudy day with rain clearing through the morning followed by drier but cold conditions developing. Early rain and drizzle will affect most areas, heaviest in western districts where moderate falls are possible before dawn. Cloud will remain extensive throughout with fog patches on hills and coasts during the morning hours. Temperatures will struggle, reaching only 6-9?C in most places with values falling during the afternoon, coldest in western coastal areas. Fresh to strong west-northwest winds will develop, gusting 40-50 kph across exposed areas. Conditions will feel notably raw due to the combination of wind, low cloud and dampness. The afternoon will see rain becoming lighter and more scattered, though drizzle will persist in places. Eastern inland areas may see brief brighter intervals developing late in the day. Wind chill will be significant, making it feel several degrees colder than actual temperatures, particularly along western coasts where gusts could reach 55 kph. 00-06: Dense overcast with rain clearing eastwards, patchy fog on coasts and hills, temperatures 7-9?C falling slowly, winds easing northwest 15-25 kph. 07-12: Cloudy with drizzle and light rain, fog clearing slowly, temperatures 6-8?C steady or falling slightly, winds increasing northwest 20-30 kph gusting 40 kph. 13-18: Mostly cloudy with scattered light rain and drizzle, occasional brighter breaks possible east, temperatures 6-7?C and falling, winds fresh to strong northwest 25-35 kph gusting 45 kph. 19-00: Cloudy with isolated showers, dry intervals developing, temperatures 3-5?C in west to 5-7?C east, winds remaining fresh northwest 20-30 kph gusting 40 kph. Cleggan: Cloudy, rain clearing to showers, cold afternoon, high 7?C, fresh NW winds 30-40 kph. Clifden: Cloudy, morning rain then drizzle, cold, high 7?C, windy NW 30-45 kph gusting 50 kph. Glinsce: Cloudy with light rain and drizzle, patchy fog early, high 8?C, breezy NW winds 25-35 kph. Kylemore: Cloudy, rain clearing to drizzle, cold afternoon, high 6-7?C, windy NW 30-45 kph. Leenane: Cloudy with drizzle, patchy fog morning, temperatures falling afternoon, high 9?C then 7?C, breezy NW 20-30 kph gusting 40 kph. Letterfrack: Cloudy, morning rain then drizzle, cold, high 7?C, windy NW 30-40 kph.
