Connemara Detailed Forecast for Thu 02 Apr 2026 A wet and breezy day for Connemara with rain spreading across all areas during the morning, turning heavier and more persistent through the afternoon. Temperatures will struggle to reach 8-9?C in most locations, though feeling colder in the strengthening southwesterly winds which will gust 35-50 kph, locally higher along western coasts. Cloud cover will be dense overcast throughout the day with very little brightness. Rainfall totals of 10-25mm are expected, with the highest amounts in western and northern parts of the region. The evening and night will see rain continuing but gradually becoming lighter and more intermittent. Winds will remain breezy from the southwest before slowly easing overnight. Low temperatures of 5-7?C with very high humidity and patchy light fog developing in some sheltered areas after midnight. Conditions will remain cloudy with dense overcast persisting through the night. 00-06: Dense overcast with drizzle developing into light rain. Temperatures rising from 5-6?C to 6-7?C. Light to moderate southwesterly winds increasing. 07-12: Dense overcast with rain becoming widespread and heavy at times. Temperatures reaching 7-9?C. Fresh to strong southwesterly winds gusting 30-40 kph. 13-18: Dense overcast with periods of moderate to heavy rain. Temperatures holding 7-9?C then falling slightly. Strong southwesterly winds gusting 35-50 kph. 19-00: Dense overcast with rain easing to showers and drizzle. Temperatures falling to 7-8?C. Winds gradually moderating but remaining breezy from the southwest. Cleggan: Dense overcast with rain developing morning, heavy at times afternoon. High 8?C. Very windy with gusts 45-50 kph.
